Positions Available
Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Helps clients with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, grooming, companionship, meal preparation, running errands, and light housekeeping.
Homemaker/Personal Support Worker/Independent Community Living Specialist – Assists clients with household management, housekeeping, activities of daily living, interacting in the community, and utilizing community resources.
Home Health Aide – Helps clients within our private pay division with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, grooming, medication administration, and delegated tasks. Preferably a NA/R or CNA with one year of experience in home health care or a skilled nursing facility.
PCA TRAINING
Required DHS Individualized PCA Training Now Available Online
All PCA employees are required to complete the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Individualized PCA Training as mandated by the legislature on January 1st, 2010. The online training course is now available and is free of charge. To register for a training, you must have a valid email address where you will receive your training certificate. The training will take approximately 30-45 minutes. For any new hire, the training must be completed before they begin working. The certificate is valid for all PCA providers that PCAs are employed by. Once the PCA has passed the required training, please fax DIAMONDS HOME HEALTH CARE INC a copy of the certification to 612-722-2186 or email Nasra@Diamonds-pca.com.
